Project: Lana Del Ray Website

Overview

Background

I wanted to create a website that imitated the aesthetics of flat design.

Goal

From initial conception to final implementation, the goal for this personal project was to design a site that would highlight the career of singer Lana Del Ray, and release it as soon as possible.

Problem

Time constraints, and familiarizing myself with JS/Bootstrap were the main issues I encountered during development. Other issues were related to finding the best way to present a large volume of information without taxing the user.

Solution

Deployment happened in roughly two weeks. And although my goal was to launch the site as soon as possible, my intent was to inform people about Lana Del Ray. More so, I didn't want any user's to feel like they had to invest an inordinate amount of time on the site in order to learn about her. I wanted anyone to be able to glance at my site and figure out who she is and what she does.
